Qatar Emir Leaves Vietnam

Hanoi, January 17 (QNA) - HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani left Hanoi Tuesday morning for Brunei Darussalam, wrapping up a two-day state visit to Vietnam. HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Noi Bai International Airport by Chief of the Vietnamese Presidency Affairs Ngowin Ven Geyan along with a number of Their Excellencies Vietnam's high-ranking officials, Qatar's Ambassador to Vietnam Mohammad Jaber Abdullah al-Sulaiti and Vietnam's Ambassador to Qatar Li Hong Van. HH the Emir had sent a cable to the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang expressing thanks and gratitude for the hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying delegation during the visit.
