Qatar Deputy Prime Minister Meets Assistant of Sudan's President

Doha, April 02 (QNA) -HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud , met on Tuesday with Assistant to the Sudanese President Abdul-Rahman al-Sadiq al-Mahdi and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to Qatar. Talks during the meeting dealt with relations between the two countries and means of bolstering and promoting them in all fields. The two sides also reviewed the positive developments of the Darfur Peace Process on the basis of the Doha Document for Peace in light of the accord held between the government of sudan and the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement and arrangements for holding the international conference for the reconstruction and development in Darfur due to convene in Doha next Sunday. The meeting was attended by Sudanese Ambassador to Qatar HE Yasser Khalaf Allah Khadir and a number of officials of the cabinet's general secrtariat. Earlier today, HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at the Emiri Diwan office with Assistant to the Sudanese President Abdul-Rahman al-Sadiq al-Mahdi and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country.(QNA)
