Qatar Condemns Israeli Illegal Policies of Racism and Aggressiveness

Geneva, July 25 (QNA) - Qatar has strongly condemned all the practices and illegal policies of racism and aggressiveness carried out by Israel, the , which have led and will lead, without any doubt, to further deterioration in the social and economic conditions of the Palestinian people. The State of Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to continuously provide all kinds of support to the brotherly Palestinian people to obtain all their legitimate rights, and the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. This came in a speech delivered by Mr. Mohannad Al Hammadi, the second secretary at the Permanent Mission of Qatar to the United Nations Office in Geneva before the substantive session of the Economic and Social Council for 2013, currently being held in Geneva under item (11) on the economic and social repercussions of the Israeli occupation on the living conditions of the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan. Al Hammadi said that the Palestinian people were struggling for more than six and a half decades in order to recover their legitimate rights, and that the time has come for the international community to stop the catastrophic consequences suffered by the Palestinian people and the Syrian people in the occupied Syrian Golan, as a result of the Israeli brutal occupation by ending Israeli occupation of all Arab territories, stop settlement operations, lift the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip as well as to comply with all resolutions and relevant international laws and to hold all those responsible for the violations that took place against the Palestinian people.(QNA)
