Qatar Condemns Assassination of Tunisian Opposition Figure

Doha, February 06 (QNA) - The State of Qatar denounced Wednesday the assassination of Tunisian general secretary of the Democratic Patriotic Party Chokri Belaid, after he was gunned down in front of his home in Tunis. A reliable source at the Foreign Ministry told Qatar News Agency (QNA) today that the State of Qatar condemns all acts of violence and terrorism. The source also conveyed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the Tunisian government, the victim's family and the Tunisian people on Belaid's assassination. (QNA)
