Qatar Chamber Holds Meeting with Tunisian Minister of Economic and Social Affairs

Doha, June 10 (QNA) - A meeting was held here today between Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) and Tunisian Minister of Economic and Social Affairs Ridha Al Saidi. Talks during the meeting tackled means of enhancing commercial and economic relations between Qatari businessmen and their Tunisian counterparts. The Tunisian Minister said there is readiness to cooperate on the official level and business sector between the two countries, referring in this respect to the horizons for cooperation and investment between the Tunisian businessmen and their Qatari counterparts in the field of industry, agriculture, tourism, medical affairs, services and engineering. He pointed to the necessity of reactivating the Joint Qatari Tunisian Business Council in order to provide an opportunity to businessmen in the two countries to hold bilateral meetings to identify the available investment opportunities and the possibility of establishing a genuine partnership between the two sides. For his part, the Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar said that Doha and Tunis have good cooperation relations, especially on the level of cooperation between businessmen in both countries, emphasizing the desire of both sides to strengthen these relations in all aspects.(QNA)
