Qatar Advisory Council's Joint Panel Listens to Viewpoint of Ashghal on Street Congestion

Doha, March 26 (QNA) - A joint panel comprising the interior and external affairs committee and the services and public utilities at the Advisory Council , met here on Tuesday under its Rapporteur Saqr Fahad Al-Mrekhai. The panel continued study of the floor request submitted by a number of the Advisory Council members concerning the street congestion the Doha City is suffering from. The meeting was attended by chairman of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) Eng. Nasser Ali Al-Mawlawi and others. Eng.Mawlawi and his escorts briefed the joint committee of the Ashghal's vision concerning the floor request and replied all relevant queries posed by the joint committee's members. The joint panel decided to call the Assistant Undersecretary for Planning Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning to attend the next meeting to listen to the ministry's viewpoint on the aforesaid floor request.(QNA)
