Qatar Advisory Council Holds Weekly Session

Doha, April 15 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held its regular weekly session under its Speaker HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, Council Secretary General HE Saad bin Mubarak Al Khyareen read out the adgenda which has been approved. Later a memorandum by the Cabinet General Secretariat addressed to the Supreme Education Council on a general debate request on the unification of the starting date of the scholastic year, school and Qatar University vacations was read out. The council took note of the memorandum. The Council then discussed the report by Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a draft law regulating the practice of maritime works in Qatari waters, and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.(QNA)
