Qatar Advisory Council Holds Weekly Session

Doha, April 02 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held on Monday its weekly regular session chaired by its Speaker HE Mohammad bin Mubarak al-kholeifi. At the outset of the meeting, the Advisory Council Secretary Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayarin read out the agenda which was agreed upon and then endorsed the minutes of its previous session. The Advisory Council discussed a draft law amending some provisions of law No. (11) of 2003 establishing the State Incentive and Encouragement Awards for Literature, Arts and Sciences and decided to refer it to the Council's Cultural Affairs and Information Committee for further study and to report thereon to the Council.
