Production of vehicles grows in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2022. /Kabar/. The volume of production of vehicles in Kyrgyzstan increased by 58.6%, according to the National Statistical Committee. In the first nine months of this year, vehicles in the amount of 1 billion 30 million 390.9 thousand soms were produced in the republic. Of these, 922 million 642.9 thousand soms is the actual price of cars produced in the specified period, and 107 million 748 thousand - other vehicles. It is known that the production of cars in the specified period increased by 69.3%, and other vehicles - by 11.4%. At the end of January 2022, the first nationally designed bus was manually assembled in Kara-Balta, after which they began to test it and prepare a prototype for mass production. The buses are produced under the Beles brand. They got the technical stuffing from the European concern DAF. The first bus is equipped with a Euro 5 diesel engine. In the future, it is planned to establish the production of gas and fully electric versions. Also in Osh in 2021, the first plant for the assembly of small trucks was opened. In May of this year, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided that until December 31, 2023, cars manufactured in Kyrgyzstan will undergo a simplified certification procedure.
