Prime Minister Takes Part in Friends of Syria Meeting

Rome, February 28 (QNA) - Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, took part in the Friends of Syria meeting held in Rome, Italy on Thursday. The meeting discussed how to deal with the Syrian crisis and means of providing humanitarian assistance to the Syrian refugees and displaced people. Today's meeting marks major" turning points," which would be reflected in the final communique, HE the Premier stated following the conference. The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed optimism about the outcomes of the meeting, saying that things are "on the right track."
