Prime Minister, Iranian President Discuss Joint Bilateral Files

Baghdad / NINA / - Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced that he discussed with the Iranian President joint bilateral files. He said during a joint press conference with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi: "We are working to transfer the joint files for the benefit of the two peoples." Al-Kadhimi added: "Increasing trade exchange between the two countries was discussed in light of Iraq's desire to strengthen relations with all neighboring countries." The Prime Minister affirmed: "Iraq's position is consistent by standing with the Iranian people, and towards its relations with Iran." He thanked Iran and everyone who stood with Iraq in its war against ISIS./End President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, affirmed that the relationship with Iraq is not just a neighborly relationship, but rather there is a renewed and solid relationship and we are working to expand it.
