Prime Minister Arrives In Kuwait

BAGHDAD, Iraq (NINA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi and his accompanying delegation arrived in Kuwait on Wednesday for an official visit as part of his regional tour. A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said: "Abadi was received by Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait and a number of his cabinet members. Sheikh Jaber Al-Sabah welcomed Abadi, expressing pride in the relations between the two brotherly countries. An official reception ceremony was held at Kuwait International Airport where the national anthem of Iraqi and Kuwaiti played. Abadi will meet with Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, and the official talks between the two countries will begin today afternoon./ End
