President Zhaparov talks over phone with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban

Bishkek, April 5, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held on Tuesday a phone talk with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. Current areas and prospects of Kyrgyz-Hungarian bilateral relations were discussed during the conversation, the press service of the Kyrgyz leader said. Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated Viktor Orban and the leader of the Fidesz party on his convincing victory in the parliamentary elections on April 4, and wished him great success. In the course of the talk, the president of Kyrgyzstan noted with satisfaction the upcoming 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and praised the current Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations. He stressed the importance of further joint strengthening of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary. In his turn, the prime minister of Hungary thanked Sadyr Zhaparov for congratulations, and expressed readiness for further deepening of Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations both in bilateral format and within multilateral cooperation. Besides, special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States. The sides confirmed their mutual interest in continuing systematic work to intensify bilateral cooperation in trade-economic, transport-logistics and investment spheres.
