President Zhaparov congratulates people of Kyrgyzstan on State Flag Day

Bishkek, March 3, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated Kyrgyzstanis on the State Flag Day. In his address to the people, Zhaparov noted that national flag, which symbolizes the independence and freedom of the country, reflects the spiritual values and historical path of the Kyrgyz people, his press service said. "Over the centuries, our people, united under a red flag, has striven for freedom and sought to build an independent state. Nowadays, the attitude toward the red flag is deepening and respect is increasing. It has become a symbol of patriotism for every citizen of Kyrgyzstan, especially young people, forming a civic position and love for the homeland, " Zhaparov said. He also noted the need to unite under one banner for the sake of the country's future. "May the red flag always fly, reflecting the great purpose of the nation, its past and future, handed down by our forefathers!", the Kygyz leader's address says. The National Flag has been approved by the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic on Mar. 3, 1992. The authors of the Flag are Edil Aidarbekov, Bekbosun Zhaichybekov, Zhusup Matayev, Sabyr Iptarov and Mamatbek Sydykov.
