President sends greeting to participants of Ninth Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference

Bishkek, June 10, 2022. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov sent a welcome address to participants of the Ninth Kyrgyz-Russian Inter-regional Conference held on June 9 in Russia’s Yekaterinburg, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported. In his message, the president noted that the current conference is held in the anniversary year, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Zhaparov emphasized that over the past 30 years, the sides have done an enormous amount of work to build the Kyrgyz-Russian interstate cooperation. The issues of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, inter-regional and inter-parliamentary nature, including within the framework of international and inter-regional organizations, are actively promoted. He noted that expanding interaction with Russian regions is one of the effective mechanisms for strengthening bilateral trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Over the years of its existence, the Conference has established itself as an authoritative discussion platform, bringing together representatives of state authorities, business and expert circles to discuss the most topical issues of interaction between the countries in search of new promising areas of cooperation in various spheres. Sadyr Zhaparov urged to increase the effectiveness of this instrument of cooperation and to use new directions of partnership development. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev read the message of the Kyrgyz leader to the Conference participants.
