President Putin: Bahrain is our partner in investment

St. Petersburg, June 20 (BNA): Russian President Vladimir Putin lauded strong relations between Bahrain and Russia, commending the spirit of commitment of Mumtalakat Holding Company. In a panel session held on the sidelines of the 19th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, attended by Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Russian President said that Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company is not just a partner of Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and that there is an agreement that it participates in all RDIF projects. "Just look at what our [Bahraini] partners are ready to do.Every time the RDIF implements a project, the Bahraini fund automatically joins with 10 per cent," President Putin said at the session where Mahmood Al Kooheji, Chief Executive Officer of Mumtalakat, was a panelist. "It is a huge trust not only in the Russia economy, but also in the professionalism of the colleagues working in the RDIF. I would like to ask everyone to greet our partners [in Bahrain] and express our gratitude to them," the Russian leader said.
