President Jeenbekov meets with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban

Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2020 /Kabar/. Today, Sept. 29, the Carmelite Palace in Budapest hosted an official meeting ceremony of Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. According to the Kyrgyz president’s press service, a Guard of Honor was lined up, anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary were played. After inspecting a Guard of Honor and National Mounted Unit, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban introduced members of their delegations. The solemn march of the military band marked the end of military honors, and then a handshake and a photographing ceremony took place in the foyer of the Carmelite Palace. Further, the parties headed for negotiations in narrow format to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov arrived in Hungary on Sept. 28 for return visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
