President extends condolences on untimely passing of Chyngyz Aitmatov’s widow

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov expressed condolences to the family and friends of Chyngyz Aitmatov in connection with the untimely passing of widow of the great writer, Maria Aitmatova, his press service said on Tuesday. "With a sense of deep sadness I received the bitter news of the passing of Maria Aitmatova. It is a great loss not only for her family and friends, but for all of us. Maria Aitmatova will forever remain in our memory as a caring mother, a faithful preserver of the hearth, a loving wife and a reliable life partner of the great writer, who made Kyrgyzstan famous throughout the world. Once again, I express my deep condolences to all the relatives and friends of the Aitmatov’s family," the Kyrgyz president’s message says.
