President , Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Discuss Joint Cooperation To Combat Coronavirus

Baghdad (NINA) - Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that he discussed with the President of the Republic Barham Saleh ways to combat the emerging coronavirus, which has turned into a global pandemic. Bin Zayed wrote on Twitter today, Sunday, "I discussed with Iraqi President Dr. Barham Salih the strengthening of fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and the developments in the spread of Coronavirus and its containment and prevention efforts." He continued: "We discussed areas of cooperation and joint coordination to counter it and alleviate its various implications." As of Saturday, the UAE had registered 468 new cases of Coronavirus and two deaths, according to the Ministry of Health. The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed that it did not record any new deaths, today, Sunday, noting that the total number of infected amounted to 547, 42 deaths and 143 complete recovery. / End
