Premier's directives stressed

Manama, Aug.10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Premier's Court President Shaikh Hosam bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed and Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani . He stressed the directives of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for all ministries and government departments to follow-up the needs of citizens and address their problems. He underlined the importance of stepping up coordination between ministries and government departments to achieve citizens' aspirations and remove obstacles which may delay government services. Shaikh Hosam bin Isa Al-Khalifa stressed the need to implement directives of the Premier to streamline procedures for citizens, particularly at ports and Bahrain International Airport to ensure the smooth flow of transport and expedite clearance procedures so as not to compromise traders and importers' interests and cope with the growth in the volume of trade and maritime transport. The meeting focused on cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to streamline procedures, ensure goods reach citizens and maintain price stability.
