Premier congratulated by Labour Minister

Manama, Aug.8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan on the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Award which will be conferred on him during a celebration at the UN headquarters in New York on September 26, marking ITU’s 150th anniversary. On behalf of the all the ministry's staff, he hailed the ITU honour as an international recognition of the Government-led led efforts, chaired by HRH the Premier, to promote economic and social development in Bahrain. He lauded the landmark achievements of the Government in all fields, citing particularly dedicated efforts to optimize the use of information and telecommunications technologies to meet the goals of sustainable development.
