Premier congratulated on ITU Award

Manama, Sep.28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from National Action Charter Society Politburo Chief Ahmed Juma’a on being granted the Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The award was presented to ش Bahrain delegation attending a ceremony which was held at the United Nations (UN) headquarters to mark the ITU 150th anniversary. Juma’a extended congratulations on behalf of the politburo members and general-secretariat to HRH the Premier, hailing the ITU award as a global honour which acknowledges Bahrain’s landmark strides in using ICT technologies to achieve sustainable development.
