PM:Government Heeds Thai King's Advice

BANGKOK, December 6 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said today that his administration has heeded and will follow His Majesty King Bhubimol Adulyadej's guidelines by speeding up a master plan on sustainable water management and draining out floodwater from remaining communities by the end of this year. Yingluck told reporters that the Thai Cabinet has resolved to follow His Majesty the King’s guidelines on water management by forming a committee on sustainable water solutions; while the Interior Ministry will speed up floodwater drainage in the remaining flooded communities to let dwellers return home for their New Year celebrations. The Pheu Thai prime minister promised to work out peaceful solutions and assistance for the flood-affected people. Premier Yingluck also urged all parties in the Thai society to do social contributions throughout this month to pay tribute to His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of the beloved Thai monoarch's 84th birthday on December 5.
