The PM Receives A Written Message From His British Counterpart

Baghdad / NINA /- Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi received, today, Sunday, a written message from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, which was delivered by British Ambassador to Baghdad Stephen Hickey. The Information Office of the Prime Minister stated: “Hickey conveyed the greetings of the British Prime Minister and Britain's willingness to support the Iraqi government, as it addresses many challenges, foremost of which is facing the Coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the whole world, and its implications for the economic and financial situation." For his part, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi praised Britain's support for Iraq and his keenness to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and raise the level of cooperation between them. During the meeting, they also discussed strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the security, economic and investment fields, the situations in Iraq and the region, and the challenges facing the country. / End
