PDRC holds training workshop

Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): The Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission (PDRC) hosted a two-day specialized training workshop. Experts from Her Majesty the Queen's Inspectorate of Prisons in the United Kingdom gave lectures in cooperation with the UK Embassy in Manama, on November 8-9. The workshop was part of an introductory programme on major international expertise in the domain of the commission's work held inside Bahrain and visits undertaken by PDRC commissioners to the United Kingdom to hands-on learn the work of specialized prisons, hospitals and psychiatric institutions.
