Partial Closure on a Street in the Whole Sale Market Interchange Area

Doha, May 08 (QNA) - The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced that a section of Street 150 heading north to Al Waab Street will be closed on Thursday and Friday May 9 and 10 and will re-open on Saturday May 11. The Authority added that the closure is part of the development works on Salwa Road intersections. It said Salwa Road users traveling north from Doha city through Wholesale Market Interchange toward Alwaab Street will be able to use the alternate roads during the temporary diversion period. Diverting traffic away from the main construction works on Wholesale Market Street will ensure safety and smooth traffic flow to Alwaab Street, added Ashghal in a statement. Upon completion, Salwa Road Expressway will facilitate travel through four lanes in each direction, four underpasses. Salwa Road Expressway is part of Ashghals Expressway Programme which is a nationwide road infrastructure programme that is set to improve the way people and places are connected across Qatar. (QNA)
