Parliamentary delegation participates in APA meetings

Manama, May 11 (BNA) – The parliamentary delegation led by Shura Council member, permanent representative of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Dr. Abdulaziz Abul and APA Deputy Chairman of Political Affairs Committee, MP Mohammed Al-Emadi, will participate in the Standing Committee on Political Affairs' meetings on 14-15 May in Ankara, Turkey. The meeting, which comes at the invitation of Turkish Parliament Speaker, Cemil Ciçek, aims to elect Parliament Bureau members and to ratify the declaration of the principles of friendship and cooperation in Asia that target creating further cooperation among Asian parliaments. The meeting will also discuss holding the Second Forum on Friendship and Cooperation 2014, in addition to continue joint discussions and activities to combat terrorism in Asia. MJ
