Parliament welcomes severing relations with Iran

Manama, Jan 6 (BNA): The Council of Representatives has affirmed its support for the Government of Bahrain's decision on severing diplomatic relations with Iran, hailing similar decision of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, on severing its diplomatic relations with Iran, which has been supporting terrorism and exporting it to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Representatives' Council strongly condemned Iran's blatant interference in the interior affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, GCC countries and the region's, as well as its continuing attempts to destabilize their security and stability. It describes it as a flagrant violation of the political and diplomatic norms and an infringement on the national unity. It pointed out Bahrain's resolve to stand against such malicious attempts under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
