Palestinian Deposed Government Thanks HH the Emir for Gaza Fuel Shipment

Gaza, June 08 (QNA) - The Palestinian deposed government has thanked HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani for the fuel shipment to Gaza Strip's power generating plant, noting that this last gift is one of many supportive stances taken by HH the Emir in favor of the Palestinian people. Taher Nunu, spokesman for the deposed government, praised in press statement the role Egypt has played to deliver the Qatari shipment to the strip. Nunu wished the flow of fuel would continue, so that provision of electricity for Gaza citizens would improve. Qatar donated a 25,000-ton shipload of fuel to the strip that has been going through a severe fuel crisis that resulted in lengthy power outage, badly affecting all aspects of Gazans daily life. Five trucks carrying the fuel shipment on Thursday arrived on the Palestinian side of the Karam Abu Salim crossing, and is on its way to the Gaza power plant. (QNA)
