Over 168 thsd tons of milk produced in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of 2022

In January-February this year, 168.7 thousand tons of milk were produced in Kyrgyzstan, which is 2,863 tons, or 1.7% more compared to the same period last year, the Agriculture Ministry said Friday. Thus, milk production has increased in all regions of the country, except Batken Oblast. The decrease there is observed due to a decline in the number of cattle. The highest growth rate of milk production is observed in farms of Issyk-Kul Oblast - 102,5%, Jalal-Abad - 102,4% and Chui Oblast - 102,6%.
