Oslo Forum Convenes, Qatar Participates

Geneva, June 21 (QNA) - Oslo Forum, a gathering of around 100 armed conflict mediators and other key actors in peace processes all over the world, held a meeting under the theme "Negotiating in Transition." The forum discussed a number of major issues for mediation efforts in various areas of the world. Key peace actors from all over the world engaged in a series of informal meetings to create a leading international network for armed conflicts' mediation. HE Sheikha Aliaa bint Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, Qatar's permanent delegate to the United Nations in Geneva, represented Qatar in the forum. (QNA)
