Ombudsman Office holds training course

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): The Ombudsman Office has conducted a training session in the Institute of Judicial Studies themed "definitions of dealing with the public in the fields of policing) in collaboration with Northern Ireland's International Cooperation Organisation attended by investigators and staff members of the Ombudsman Office. The course was part of administrative and professional training and development programmes. The participants were introduced to the humanitarian frames of respecting human rights for members of police agencies dealing with members of the public according to international law and conventions. The Ombudsman Office said the professional training plans and programmes are among the priorities it is keen to continuously implement to keep up with latest developments regarding laws and regulations that govern the nature of law enforcement members dealing with members of the public to ensure serving them and fulfilling their requests within a general frame that consolidates the respecting of the principles of human rights.
