Occupational health, safety cooperation discussed

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): Labour Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs also Deputy Chairman of the Council on Vocational Safety and Hygiene, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Ansari, received International Advisor for Safety, Health, Neill Stevens, in the presence of CEO of the British Occupational Safety, Health Labs, Dr. Bill Nixon, and Ellen Harper to discuss the signing of cooperation agreement between Bahrain's Occupational Health and Safety Council and the British Occupational Safety and Health Corporation. The two sides exchanged viewpoints and opinions as part of current cooperation to develop the work of the Safety, Health Council to benefit from the British Safety Council's vast expertise in the field and ergonomics. They also discussed field visits, expertise transfer, events and training organizing between the two sides.
