Number of unemployed in EAEU states reaches over 1 mln citizens

Bishkek, June 16, 2022. /Kabar/. The number of unemployed in countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to more than 1 million citizens. The Eurasian Economic Commission reported that by the end of April 2022, the number of unemployed people, registered in the employment services of the EAEU was 1 million 20.9 thousand people, which is 46.4% down compared to the same date in 2021. Thus, the number of unemployed is 1.1% of the labor force. In 2021, the figure was 2.1%.
