Northern Police investigate damage in two community centres

Manama, Oct.17 (BNA): The General Director of Northern Governorate Police announced that the security directorate received two reports of property damage that occurred at dawn on Friday in Mattams (Community Centers) in the villages of Hamala and Demistan. Complainants also reported hearing the sound of gunshots. The General Director said police responded to the scene and that the initial investigation revealed holes in some of the doors and windows of the Mattams. Two bullet casings and two spent bullets were found at one of the sites. He said that the items were seized for forensic testing. The investigation continues to identify and arrest the suspects involved. The Public Prosecution was also notified.
