Northern Governorate highlights "Partners in Peace" experience

New York, Oct. 17 (BNA): The Northern Governorate's pavilion has highlighted in "This is Bahrain" exhibition in New York the "We are All Partners in Peace" experience as a multi-pronged initiative aimed at boosting humanitarian, Islamic and civilisational values. Northern Governor Ali bin Al-Shaikh Abdul Hussain Al-Asfoor praised the efforts made to ensure success of the exhibition which featured 50 pavilions representing official and non-government organisations. He said the exhibition, which was organised during the last week of September, was an opportunity to inform visitors about the activities held by Bahrain to boost values of tolerance, peace and co-existence among all components of the Bahraini society and preserve the strength of social texture. The governorate's Information and Follow-up Director Hassan Saleh Al-Sa'ati said the governorate's pavilion presented the visitors with a booklet on the functions carried out by the Northern Governorate round the year. He pointed out the visitors' appreciation of the activities aimed at promoting the culture of respecting religions, tolerance and co-existence.
