NOGA discusses petroleum development plans

Manama, Apr 26 (BNA) – The National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA), in collaboration with the Tatweer Petroleum Company, today held a meeting to discussed Bahrain Petroleum Field future development plans, and reviewed the potential obstacles facing the development process and its effect on oil and gas production. NOGA's Director-General, Eng. Jassim Isa Al-Shirawi, stressed the NOGA's commitment to the agreement signed with Occidental Company and Mubadala Company in 2009 on the development and participation in production operations of Bahrain Petroleum Field. Tatweer's Vice Executive President, Hishaam Zibaari, and Land Development Managing Director, Barry Sadler, gave an overview of the most important challenges to encounter the Bahrain Petroleum Field development process .
