No country is immune from terrorism danger

Manama , Nov 5 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, said no single country is immune from terrorism, which necessitates from the region and all states to double their efforts and engage in further solidarity in order to develop a confrontation policy capable of eliminating the root causes of the increasing terrorism that endangers the entire world. This came as the ambassador met with the heads of the accredited diplomatic missions to Bahrain along with the heads of the missions of the permanent members of the UN Security Council. He gave them a detailed account on the arrest of 47 terrorists, saying that they are closely linked to Iranian sides and to Iran-based terrorist individuals and have received training on the use of weapons and making of explosives at Iranian camps. He said that the members of this group are some of the most dangerous terrorists who are active through worldwide webs and seek to undermine the security of the kingdom after having been transformed into tools for the implementation of external agendas that target the stability and security of Bahrain. Ambassador Abdullah pointed out that the arrest of this dangerous group with its plans and training schemes is a living proof that Iran is still fostering terrorism out of the belief that it is immune from terrorism’s danger and evil. "We should all know and so should the terrorism manipulating and supporting powers that this terrorism which plagues our region will not stop at a particular country. Those who think that they are warding off terrorism by supporting it elsewhere should know that they are wrong and deluded as this terrorism will turn on them sooner or later," he explained. Terrorism is one of the biggest dangers that threaten peoples’ development and stability worldwide and no country, no matter how powerful it is, can ever defeat violence and terrorism by its own, the ambassador said, adding that the terrorists will not be able to survive in the presence of a comprehensive and transparent cooperation and a common determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations as well as a common resolve to dry up its financing sources.
