New Gas Field Discovered North of Qatar

Doha, March 10 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammad bin Saleh Al-Sada announced Sunday that a new gas field with 5.2 trillion cubic feet was discovered in the area "North 4" within the country's territorial waters. In a press conference held this morning to announce the discovery, HE Dr. Mohammad bin Saleh Al-Sada said that the new gas field will be developed with "Wintershall" and "Mitsui Gas Development Qatar B.V."
