New appointments made in Kazakhstan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 21 / Trend E. Kosolapova / A number of new appointments to the senior posts were made in Kazakhstan on Dec. 21. In particular, the new transport and communications minister was appointed. Former Communications and IT Minister Askar Zhumagaliyev took this position, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov said on Saturday. "The Transport and Communications Ministry. I introduced new Minister Askar Zhumagaliev," Massimov said in twitter. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree on appointing a new mayor of Akmola region, the presidential press service said. Former chairman of the Agency for Fighting Economic and Corruption Crimes (Financial Police) Kairat Kozhamzharov was appointed to this position. Former deputy mayor of Akmola region Kadyrhan Otarov was appointed as Chairman of the Land Management Agency. "The Land Management Agency. I introduced the chairman Kadirhan Otarov to the staff," Massimov said in twitter. New Minister of Industry and New Technologies was appointed in Kazakhstan. Former Deputy Prime Minister Aset Isekeshev was appointed. "The President signed the decree on "Appointing Aset Isekeshev as Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the presidential press-service said.
