Net profit of state enterprises amounted to over KGS 1 bln since beginning of year

The national budget of Kyrgyzstan received KGS 1,868.3 million through the State Property Management Fund (SPMF) in the first six months of 2022, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan said Friday. Earlier, the Fund held a meeting with the participation of Deputy Minister Kanat Abdrakhmanov, where they were informed about the results of the work of the SPMF in the main areas of activity for the first half of 2022. "Thus, the total net profit of joint-stock companies with state participation in the first six months was about KGS 6.5 billion, and more than KGS 1 billion for state enterprises. In turn, actual inflow of means from the State Property Management Fund in the national budget made KGS 1 868,9 million,” the report said. Within the framework of the meeting, Deputy Minister Abdrakhmanov set a task before the Fund to strengthen and continue the positive trend of profit growth of state companies and maximize the profitability of the state sector of economy following the results of 2021. Along with this, members of the board of the Fund drew attention to the importance of disclosure of information and openness to the public and business issues, related to the management of state property and activities of enterprises. Last year, the total net profit of joint-stock companies with state participation was more than KGS 11 billion, and the total net profit of state enterprises – over KGS 2 billion.
