NCPCW convenes

Manama, Jan 5 (BNA): Foreign Undersecretary Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah has chaired a meeting of National Committee for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (NCPCW). The meeting discussed the results of the NCPCW delegation's participation in the 20th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Chemical Weapons held in The Hague in December 2015. The committee's 2016 work plan was also reviewed, as well as proposal for holding a training workshop in Bahrain, in cooperation with the OPCW, on the security and safety procedures in case of chemical accidents.
