National strategy for food security discussed

Manama, July 9 (BNA): The work team in charge of drawing up a national strategy for food security held their first coordination meeting under the presidency of Industry and Commerce Ministry Undersecretary for Commercial Affairs Nader Al Moayed. They discussed issues pertaining to mapping out a national strategy for food security in light of regional opportunities and challenges. The team comprises representatives from the Industry and Commerce Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Ministry of Finance, the Health Ministry, the Municipalities Affairs Ministry, the Central Informatics Organisation and the office of the First Deputy Premier.
