National Guard Commander patronises commandoes graduation ceremony

Manama, April 29 (BNA)-- National Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa patronised today a graduation ceremony of the fifth commandoes batch at the model village for military training. He was welcomed on arrival by National Guard Staff Director Major General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Operations and Training Division Head Brigadier Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa and senior officers. He listened to a briefing by the Commander of the Special Operations Unit on the session's stages which aimed to boost the participants' competence and hone their skills in using weapons and carrying out field skills and special operations professionally. Then, a short documentary was presented on the session's training programmes. The National Guard Commander and the attendees watched demonstrations including live ammunition shooting and field applications. After that, the National Guard Commander presented the graduates and outstanding ones with their certificates and prizes of appreciation and took a commemorative photo with them and the trainers. He lauded the distinguished level and outstanding performance of the graduates, wishing them success in serving Bahrain and protecting its hard-won achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
