National Guard Chief hosts Iftar banquet

Manama, June 24 (BNA): National Guard Chief Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa hosted a Ramadan Iftar banquet this evening. National Guard Director of Staff Major General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al-Khalifa and senior officers attended the banquet. Lt-Gen Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa exchanged greetings with units commanders, divisions chiefs and officers marking the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. He prayed to Allah Almighty to guide them on the path of success in assuming their duties to defend the security of Bahrain under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, wishing many happy returns to Bahrain and its people. He conveyed greetings from HM the King, who hailed their dedicated role and strenuous efforts to maintain Bahrain’s security and stability and protect national hard-won achievements. Major General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al-Khalifa thanked the National Guard Chief for hosting the Ramadan Iftar banquet. On behalf of the National Guard affiliates, he extended congratulations and good wishes to HM the King on the advent of Ramadan. He also congratulated His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, Lt. Gen Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa, wishing Bahrain and its people many happy returns.
