National Committee for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons convenes

Manama, July 30 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Undersecretary and Chairman of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla chaired here today the Committee’s meeting. The meeting discussed the importance of participation of the Committee members in the 20th Conference of the States Parties of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), to be held in The Hagu, the Netherlands, from 30 November to December 4, 2015. The Committee’s plans and programmes which will be implemented during the 4th quarter of the current year, including inspection of the companies importing, exporting or producing chemical materials covered by the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), were also spotlighted.
