National archives milestone hailed

Manama, July25 (BNA): Isa Cultural Centre board of trustees’ deputy chairman Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa hailed the keenness of the wise leadership on conserving Bahrain’s history and heritage. He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for issuing Royal Order (31) for 2015 on organizing and establishing the national archives under the umbrella of the Isa Cultural Centre. He stressed the importance of the national archives as a useful reference and major factor that contributes to Bahrain’s development and progress on all levels for the coming generations. On behalf of Isa Cultural Centre staff, he extended thanks to HM the King for issuing the royal order, hailing his trust in the establishment to assume its responsibility in conserving the official state documents and archives.
