Nasser bin Hamad conferred Palestinian presidential medal

Moscow, July 18 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)'s board of trustees, has been conferred the Medal of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, during the inauguration of the International Interfaith Tolerance & Peace Conference organised by the Arab Cultural Forum in the Russian capital, Moscow. His Highness has been honoured in recognition of His Highness's leading humanitarian role in the provision of relief assistance and developmental projects and continuous support for the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied city of Al Quds, the latest of which was the Al Quds Al Sharif Library building. HH Shaikh Nasser dedicated the honouring to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to the loyal people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in recognition of His Majesty the King's directives in supporting philanthropic and humanitarian deeds and extending the helping hand to disaster-affected and needy brethren and friends and His Majesty's support to the Palestinian cause which is the prime issue of the Arabs, and His Majesty's support to humanitarian works undertaken by the RCO in Palestine. The medal was received on behalf of His Highness by the RCOs' secretary-general Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed during his participation in the conference in the presence of the Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Palestinian Ambassador to Moscow.
