More tourists from Italy to start visiting Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2022 / Kabar /. Representatives of the tourism sector of the Italian island of Sardinia arrived in Bishkek. They held negotiations on cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. An Italian delegation of nine people got acquainted with the projects and activities of the fund. The guests expressed their interest in working together. Following the meeting, the sides decided to increase the tourist flow from Italy to Kyrgyzstan, in particular from the island of Sardinia. Sardinia is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, which is a major tourist center and is famous for its many architectural monuments from different eras. Its area is 24.1 thousand square kilometers, and the population is 1.6 million people. The Kyrgyz diaspora, numbering 2.5 thousand people, lives on the island.
