MOI and Family Consulting Centre Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Doha, December 26 (QNA) - The ministry of the Interior has deputized the Police Training Institute (PTI) for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Family Consulting Centre that aims at achieving a package of coordination and cooperation goals between the two parties in the field of exchanging experiences, information, educational periodicals, awareness pamphlets and media releases. The PTI Director Col. Dr. Muhammed Abdullah Al Mehna al-Murri signed the MoU with Director General of Family Counsulting Center Rashid Ahmed ad-Dosari. In his post signature address, Al Murri welcomed guests from Family Consulting Centre and praised the continuous constructive cooperation and constant coordination between the two parties, which resulted in signing the memorandum that would serve MOI and Qatari society. Al Murri added that signing the memorandum stems from the two parties' keenness to activate cooperation and coordination that establishes a community partnership supporting comprehensive sustainable development efforts and achieving security and social stability. For his part, Rashid al-Dosari thanked PTI and praised its efforts, activities, kind initiative and its social humaintarian orientation of obtaining Family Consulting Centre social, psychological and counselling services. The memorandum focusses on creating mutual cooperation in developing and implementing awareness preventive training programmes in social-related issues that would further enhance family cohesion and protect it from factors threatening its stability. It also addressed mutual cooperation in the field of guiding and therapeutic services that have to do with family problems. The two parties agreed on using the library of the other side, benefiting from the specialized human resources in educational and training fields each of them has, in addition to cooperating in awareness programmes that enhance family social security.
